3 reasons to love your productOn August 24, 2018 by Carrie Catlin
Imagine for a moment that you know nothing about buying a new vehicle. You hear from a friend that you should buy a Ford truck. You go to the Ford lot and the salesman tells you all about the Ford truck and all the reasons you should buy that truck today. But when you ask him what he drives, he tells you he drives a Chevy. How would you feel? Wouldn’t you think that if he wants YOU to drive a Ford he should drive a Ford too? Or if he believes in Chevy, he should work at a Chevy lot.
That’s how your customers will feel if you use another product. Consider these 3 reasons you should love and use your product.
- You need to have some anecdotes when presenting your product to customers. When you tell them how the eye cream feels or how you’ve seen visible results, these need to be your own stories. Your customers are buying their belief in you as much as they are buying your products. Your stories have to be honest and come from personal experience.
- You will sell more of the products you love. I’m sure you have a particular product that is your favorite. You can’t get enough of it. Stock up on that product in particular because you’ll find it on every invoice you write. As you talk about your favorite product you’ll transfer that enthusiasm to your clients.
- You count as one of your own customers. If you want to see your sales increase, invest in your self. You’ll see your numbers go up for contests and required purchases just because of what you use yourself. If you say “it’s too expensive” you’ll also transfer that belief to your would-be clients. You’ve got to realize the value personally so that you can educate your clients about the same.
